Welcome back for Episode 8! Today I want to explore another of my new hobbies that is perfect for Mabon and the beginning of Spooky Season: Ghost Hunting!
In Part 1, I’ll give a little background on how ghost hunting started and some developments over the years.
In Part 2, I’ll share my experience with learning the hobby, researching equipment, choosing a ghost hunting group to join, finding locations to explore, and the experience of my first hunts. I’ll share some safety tips and why I think ghost hunting is both fun and weird despite the lack of scientific journal-ready evidence.
Next week, I will be conducting my first ever podcast interview! We’ll interview Rachel Jones-Wild from The Cynics Guide to Hippy Shit podcast. We’ll discuss her journey as a therapist, self-proclaimed hippy AND cynic (I’m excited about that one), and her development of exploring being a hobby saxophonist!
